Support Our Animal Conservation Work
Animal conservation is why we are here, the growing accessibility in our ever changing planet to some of the longest kept secrets, which are now exposed. Galana is one of those, the vast open arid plains that used to be teaming with plains game are now more sparse. The bush meat trade (notoriously poison arrows) and the snares that the team pick up are testimony to the philosophy that no animal is safe and the cruel deaths that are sustained through these methods are only brought to life when you view them.
Support us in our efforts to try to protect this small special pocket of true wild Africa against the demands of the local bush meat trade and more notably the gentle giants that roam it.

Help Us Stop Poaching
Until we have a better infrastructure in place and a better ability to combat the poachers in their massacre of the relatively unprotected animals we must try to do our bit to fight for what is right. That currently is surveillance and reporting in to ensure that people with the right training and equipment can assist our team in trying to relieve the suffering that is plaguing Africa.
The real problem is the demand for ivory, there will always be the bush meat trade but this is not as harmful to the numbers that are being culled for their ivory or rhino horn.So how can you help? By strengthening our team we will have a better ability to cover the ground needed to ensure that there is less places for the poachers to hide. We will be able to identify where the animals are during their typical migratory journeys through the conservancy. We are unable to fence the boundary, not that we would want to as this has been passed through matriarch’s generations. This is their land too and we need to fight for their right to use it. Any assistance in this regard would be hugely appreciated by us who can implement it, but ultimately by the animals that will benefit.

Buy Trees & Support our Reforestation Work
Buying a tree is as simple as 10$, we have a nursery and to improve the water catchment of the notoriously arid land it is imperative that we plant trees in the area. If you would like to be part of this initiative then please donate through our secure system on Justgiving or through Tusk Trust our partners and from our tree nursery we will ensure that a tree is placed in the ground for you.
The contribution is small but rest assured that it will help in the long run.
